  1. Kia ora Pathey. Nice job with the maths explanation video. Opened my eyes to times table facts. Also, fantastic idea about Bowling in the Olympics. Me and my family have tournaments on Nintendo Wii and it's the only way I can beat my olds cos they wipe the floor at a real bowling alley. Keep up this work standard next year and you'll be a star learner and a great leader. Wishing you and your whanau a Merry Safe Xmas.

  3. Kia ora Pathey! Another great week of work. You have found unknown words in the must read texts and created a list with the meanings you found. Excellent job using a direct quote from Mr Pardo in the article, stating why video games should be in the Olympics. You created a video to explain your maths thinking, this is something you can continue to do next year when completing your independent tasks. Hearing you describe how to use doubling and halving as a maths strategy showed you are confident in this area. The Pokemon character you planned thoroughly for is awesome, you described it's physical features, weaknesses and special powers. It looks like as you described, built from hard materials like rock. The poem you wrote was lovely to read, I especially liked the part that said, "If I fly high my feathers will fry!". Thank you for a wonderful year Pathey, you are an independent learner who is always respectful to everyone. Keep up the fantastic attitude towards all things at school, see you next year.
